We are lifelong friends who have set out on this exciting venture to explore our combined passion for people, place, Irish whiskey and the game of golf, with the aim of curating unique and immersive tour offerings for our clients.
For this reason, Dunes & Drams was founded as more than a tour company; it’s our personal pursuit to showcase Ireland in its most authentic light. This is a unique opportunity for us to connect with a wider community of likeminded individuals.

Growing up in the picturesque South West of Ireland, we’ve always been enchanted by the stories, culture, and natural beauty of our homeland.
As a Chartered Accountant and a qualified National Tour Guide of Ireland, David harbours an unwavering passion for tourism. His love for exploration is rooted in both his world travels and professional experience. Involved in a family travel business operating in Ireland for over 30 years, he leverages this platform as well as his expertise and ambition to establish this inbound tour company alongside his co-founder, Noel. David’s fond memories of working as a caddy at the Old Head Golf Links, Kinsale, during his college summers, reflect his deep connection to the game of golf.
While David brings years of experience in the travel and golf industry, Noel contributes his vast knowledge of West Cork and his love of people, culture and food to the operation. Like David, Noel is a University College Cork Commerce graduate where he majored in food business and rural development policy. He served as a member of Cork County Council from 2011-2017. Having spent a number of years away, Noel returned to West Cork in 2021 to work in his family retail grocery business. Noel is very much a people person and as part of his work, has engaged with individuals, businesses, communities and the voluntary sector right across West Cork forming strong bonds and relationships.
Each tour we design is a reflection of our love and respect for Ireland. While we specialise in golf and whiskey tours, our offerings are diverse, encompassing everything from historical landmarks to Ireland’s stunning natural landscapes.
